Raised on the Gulf Coast and still loving all things concerning salt water, Jim Gray truly enjoyed a recent trip to Grand Cayman, in the blue green waters of the Caribbean. The port of Georgetown is the hub of activity for the Cayman Islands. Literally thousands of people arrive each day by cruise ship and air plane; yet even with this influx of guests, the local people maintain a sense of tradition, an affinity for the sea, and a gracious nature that gives a sense of peacefulness to the island life. The cooling breeze, bright colors and laid back atmosphere combine to make Georgetown a place that Jim enjoyed painting and relaxing.
